The main point is that only God can be known by God…

The main point is that only God can be known by God… This basically cuts the cord of natural theology of reasoning itself to knowledge of God. For Barth this is an impossibility. I find this very interesting because the Hindu concept of the unconditioned Brahman seems to work the same way here as Barth.   ‘Knowledge of God is still only an event enclosed in the mystery of the divine Trinity’ (page 181). He then says that the ‘hiddenness of God’ is one of God’s properties. (page 184)  I find this interesting as Brahman also has a concept of Hiding his knowledge from humanity through ‘maya’ the power of brahman.
