The Holy Spirit as Comforter

So, let us start looking at some of these lists that Henry gives.

John 14, 16 but I am also adding verse 17 for context;

16 I will ask the Father, and He will give you another  Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17 that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. John 14:16-17

The Lord Jesus promises that he will send the Comforter, The Holy Spirit.  He continues the work of the Father and the Son.  He will take care of the believers until the end of time and beyond time.  Even when we have left this world and moved to the other side, The Holy Spirit still takes care of us and comforts us.

Last time we began to look at the opening of Genesis chapter 1. We learned that the elements which I believe came from nothing (ex nihilo), were the building blocks for the Lords big project of creation.
