The Holy Spirit can be vexed and grieved

9/14/2020 10 But they rebelled And grieved His Holy Spirit; Therefore He turned Himself to become their enemy, He fought against them. Isaiah 63:10 30 Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30 Let us listen to the Holy Spirit and obey Jesus all our lives.   Even as we can be grieved and upset about things, so can the Holy Spirit be grieved with a pure Holy grief that as humans we can never even contemplate.   We grieve the Holy Spirit when we do things out of selfish ambition and not listening to him.   Prayer is very important as it helps to purify our attitude    and helps us walk the road of faith. No one is perfect and the Holy Spirit goes that extra mile with us and pours his grace into our lives so that we become more like Christ day by day.

The Holy Spirit teaches and comforts us into all truth.

There are times though that a believer has to go through the worst of trials and face martyrdom. At a lesser scale a believer might be threatened with losing their job or being demoted.   This why prayer is so important.   We are not alone the Holy Spirit gives us th

The Holy Spirit intercedes for us in prayers

9/12/2020 26 In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; Romans 8:26 There are times we don't not know how to pray.   Let us be thankful that the Holy Spirit is always interceding on   our behalf.   What is intercession? If you have done something wrong and dragged in front of the Judge. There is one who takes up our cause and fights for us so that we are not punished.   God the Holy Spirit does this for us.   If he did not do this, we would be lost.
