We are now in the last part of Chapter 7. The Christian man lives by Faith in Christ, his Lord; Complete trust in the Word of God (in the person of Jesus Christ); found in the word of God (A historical revelation of the person and work of Christ found in Holy Scripture). So, todays lesson will encompass the following found at the end of chapter 7: “God’s Word has to be meditated upon before it becomes our thought, and therefore also Christ and his merits, accepted by faith, must be processed in struggle and pain and assimilated before they become ours.
